Heal Haiti

We graciously request your assistance in developing continued awareness and aid for victims affected by the devastation in Haiti.

Our intended efforts consist of the following:

1. Members of the MCA Student Alliance have begun efforts to collect requested items such as baby formula and summer clothes for citizens of Haiti.

2. A benefit concert, "Heal Haiti" is scheduled for February 19th 5-10PM at the Memphis College of Art Callicott Auditorium. The purpose of this event will be to raise awareness of Haiti's needs through a small presentation by Mr. Joshua Wyatt, who has had firsthand experience with victims prior to and preceding the earthquake. Mr. Wyatt will also explain the exact process of aid delivery.

3. In addition to the Mr. Wyatt's presentation several local bands including Bake Sale, Founders/Welders, Nick of 3-D Acid Glasses, and Artistik Approach will preform in order to raise money to further assist efforts in Haiti.

Support Haiti

Members of the Memphis College of Art Student Alliance have collectively agreed to begin several efforts in order to assist citizens of Haiti and those affected by the devastating earthquake. Our proposed efforts include the following:

Donating all funds collected from the SA hoodie sales@$15 each. In addition purchasers will receive a bumper sticker or button in exchange for their assistance, which will also be purchasable.

In addition to the funds we intend to raise we also intend to collect clothes and baby formula (which is the #1 request) in order to assist the earthquake victims. Donated materials will be collected in two separate plastic containers near the security desk at the Memphis College of Art

Hoodies can be purchased this Wednesday in the Sleeze@7pm during Coffee Night!
